Structural Calculations

Structural Calculations are required with most of construction activities, regardless the type of development.  Examples of where structural calculations will be needed include 

​

• Knocking down internal walls;

• Installing an I-beam;

• Removing a chimney;

• Laying Foundations;

• Ceiling changes; and

• Bearing walls.

The approval of the Building control is required unless you want to hire a private inspector to sign off the documents of the Structural Calculations.
